Tunisian-born, Berlin-based producer Cera Khin returns to Insomniac’s MUTATE Records with her latest single, “I Don’t Care.” A fierce collision of hard-psy techno, psychedelic textures, and uncompromising attitude, the track continues the build toward her forthcoming EP while pushing her genre-blurring sound into darker and more chaotic territory.
Following August’s “I Don’t Date Humans,” “I Don’t Care.” arrives as something of a release valve. The track begins with spellbinding spoken-word vocals that establish its detached, confrontational tone before erupting into full-force vocal shouts, bolting psy basslines, and relentless percussion.
From there, Cera Khin keeps the pressure high. Frenetic grooves twist around morphing LFOs, glitching textures, sinister pads, and trippy synth riffs, creating a hard-psy framework that feels constantly in motion. Rather than settling into a single formula, the production reflects Khin’s broader approach to electronic music: take whatever sounds right and push it as far as it can go.
For Khin, however, the track is about more than intensity. “I Don’t Care.” represents the moment when giving too much of yourself finally turns into an act of reclaiming that energy.

That sense of independence has been central to Cera Khin’s identity since she emerged onto the international underground in 2019. Born in Tunisia and now based in Berlin, she has developed a sound that deliberately avoids being boxed into one genre. Her productions and DJ sets move between hard techno, bounce, acid, hardgroove, schranz, psytechno, and experimental sounds, all guided by her straightforward philosophy: “I play whatever the fuck I want.”
Her latest MUTATE Records release builds directly on “I Don’t Date Humans,” the first single from her forthcoming EP. The August release received radio support from Lilly Palmer, Tiësto, and Bassjackers, while earning coverage from DJ Mag LATAM, Moon Lvnding, Find Your Sounds, UNDRTONE, T in Techno, T in Techno, Only Techno, and Techno Germany.
Khin’s reputation is equally rooted in her live performances, where her willingness to move between sounds becomes part of the experience. Her sets have been captured by Boiler Room x Glitch Festival, where the performance has surpassed 521,000 views, as well as HÖR BERLIN, with more than 603,000 views. She has also appeared at Awakenings Festival 2024 and recently delivered a full schranz set on the UNREAL stage at Monegros.
With upcoming appearances at Escape Psycho Circus, Echostage Washington, Fabric London, Fabrik Madrid, Unreal Germany Cologne, and Duro Barcelona, Cera Khin is continuing to take that same unpredictable energy to dancefloors around the world.
