New York City electronic artist BrokinPaper is accelerating into a new chapter with “Antidote Remix,” the second single from his forthcoming full-length album, arriving this September. Reworking the original track by Jenasi, the Minsk-based producer, BrokinPaper turns the source material into a high-speed warehouse weapon, pushing the BPM into overdrive while intensifying the tension, grit, and industrial edge that have become central to his sound.
Built around haunting UK-inspired vocals, distorted synths, and relentless percussion, “Antidote Remix” occupies a restless space between UK garage, industrial techno, and electro-punk. The production carries the raw aggression of Boys Noize and Nine Inch Nails, but its ability to move between underground warehouse culture and high-fashion environments feels distinctly BrokinPaper.
The track arrives alongside an official music video that mirrors the collaboration’s transcontinental character. Shot across New York City and Minsk, the visual brings together footage of BrokinPaper and Jenasi, creating a gritty portrait of two underground scenes separated by thousands of miles but connected through a shared approach to electronic music.
The video was directed and partially filmed by New York native Carson Packer (@bassmasterRUSH), whose previous work includes projects with labels such as City Soul and Raw Cuts. It also marks the first major project from shapes&linesNYC (@shapeslinesNYC), Packer’s new creative agency dedicated to spotlighting artists emerging from New York’s underground.
For BrokinPaper, the visual concept was rooted in the contrasting cultural identities of the two cities.
“Electronic music coming out of Eastern Europe feels distinctly different and exciting compared to what you typically hear in America. Its fast pace, heavy distortion, and ability to exist across a wide range of contexts really highlight the region’s cultural impact on the genre. Because of that, I wanted the music video to reflect this duality—featuring footage from New York City, where I’m from, and Minsk, where Jenasi is based—to showcase how both places shaped the song’s creation.”
The release arrives during a defining year for the independent artist, who has increasingly found himself operating at the intersection of electronic music, fashion, art, and nightlife. Most recently, BrokinPaper performed at Gucci Cruise’s official afterparty in New York City, where the guest list included Paris Hilton, Playboi Carti, Cindy Crawford, and Shawn Mendes.
That appearance followed an earlier invitation from Gucci and Reference Studios to perform during Berlin Gallery Weekend, further establishing his growing presence beyond traditional electronic music spaces.
Behind the BrokinPaper alias is Asian-American producer Harrison Lee, whose unconventional trajectory has already attracted significant industry attention. His growing list of achievements includes acclaim from producer and industry heavyweight Timbaland, a catalog deal with Sony-backed Black 17 Media, a feature in ZARA’s global fashion campaign, and a DJ mix for Rezz’s HypnoVizion on Apple Music.
Fresh off a headlining performance at Trans-Pecos in New York City, BrokinPaper is now building toward the release of his full-length album this September. With “Antidote Remix,” he continues to carve out a distinct space between club music, industrial experimentation, fashion, and underground culture — establishing himself as one of New York’s most compelling emerging electronic voices without relying on the traditional industry playbook.
