Dirtybird continues its Flight Week Brazil series with the release of Booty Bang, a two-track EP from Belo Horizonte producer and DJ Breaking Beattz. Featuring a collaboration with fellow Brazilian artist Ishimaru, the project becomes the third release to emerge from the label’s 2025 songwriting camp, following standout entries from BadComppany and Sudden Heat & Pitros.
Serving as Breaking Beattz’s debut on Dirtybird, Booty Bang captures the collaborative spirit of Flight Week Brazil, a creative initiative designed to bring together producers from across Brazil’s thriving electronic music scene. By encouraging artists to work outside their usual creative routines, the writing camp has become a platform for fresh ideas and new musical partnerships.
The EP’s title track sees Breaking Beattz join forces with Ishimaru on a high-energy club weapon built around punchy vocal chops, thunderous basslines, and rolling percussion. The collaboration showcases both producers’ dancefloor instincts, delivering a driving groove that reflects the energy cultivated during the Flight Week Brazil sessions.
On the B-side, “Down N Down” shifts into deeper territory while maintaining the EP’s club-ready appeal. Anchored by an infectious topline and groove-focused production, the solo effort highlights another side of Breaking Beattz’s sound, balancing melodic elements with crisp rhythms and infectious low-end.
The release reflects the broader mission behind Flight Week Brazil, which was created to celebrate the diversity of Brazil’s electronic music community while fostering collaboration between emerging and established artists. Through these sessions, Dirtybird continues to spotlight the country’s growing influence on the global dance music landscape.
Booty Bang also marks another milestone in the career of Breaking Beattz, who has spent more than a decade building his reputation as one of Brazil’s most distinctive electronic music producers. As the founder of BDV Records and the creator of the Bass de Vagabundo movement, he has played an important role in championing the next generation of Brazilian dance music talent.
His growing international profile has been strengthened through releases on respected imprints including Cloonee’s Hellbent Records and Tchami’s Confession, earning recognition for his energetic blend of house-driven grooves and bass-heavy production.
With Booty Bang, Breaking Beattz makes an impressive first appearance on Dirtybird, delivering two tracks that embody the collaborative energy of Flight Week Brazil while showcasing his versatility as both a producer and DJ. As the label continues expanding its global creative initiatives, the EP stands as another exciting chapter in Dirtybird’s ongoing commitment to discovering and elevating fresh talent from around the world.
