ASHRR Unveils Remix EP for Latest Single “Sway” Ahead of Sophomore Album

Indie electronic trio ASHRR has dropped four fresh remixes of their latest single, “Sway,” further building anticipation for their forthcoming album Sunshine Low, due out this fall via 20/20 Vision Recordings. The new EP features three reimagined versions of the track by Los Angeles legend Lovefingers, along with a by ASHRR’s own alter ego, ASHRR Soundsystem.

Side A kicks off with Lovefingers’ first rendition, the “Sway (Rimini Remix),” an eclectic trip into disco nostalgia that transports listeners to a dreamy, old-school electronic paradise. Following this, the ASHRR Soundsystem Remix closes out side A with an energetic, percussion-driven groove perfect for igniting the dance floor.

Speaking about their remix, ASHRR commented, “The rework of ‘Sway’ started with the electro synth bass line, which became the foundation of the track. We got really spaced out sonically and wanted to immerse ourselves in a psychedelic dance groove.”

On Side B, Lovefingers delivers the “Lechuza Dub” and “Skeleton Dub” remixes, both featuring a captivating, funky synth bass line that instantly grabs the listener. These tracks are built on a four-on-the-floor rhythm, primed for maximum impact in clubs and dance venues.

Lovefingers, aka Andrew Hogge, shared his excitement about the , saying, “ASHRR makes tunes right up my strasse, and remixing them was a pleasure. When the lyrics are great, they stick with me for days, eventually crystalizing into a new arrangement. With ‘Sway,’ the possibilities were endless, so I turned in three versions.”

A veteran DJ, multi-instrumentalist, and remixer, Lovefingers has earned a reputation for his ability to blend genres like house, , disco, and psychedelia into cohesive dance floor experiences. As the creative force behind the vinyl-led imprint ESP Institute, Lovefingers is a fixture in the international club scene, performing at renowned venues such as Panorama Bar, Fabric, Lux, Yellow Tokyo, and prominent U.S. spots like Nowadays, Good Room, and Public Records.

Looking ahead to their sophomore album Sunshine Low, set for release on September 20, ASHRR continues to their sound, embracing elements of soul, funk, jazz, and their love for hip-hop, electronic, and experimental music.
