Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based artist Anysia Kym returns with Purity (Flips), a new remix edition of her acclaimed collaborative album with NYC producer Tony Seltzer, out now via 10k Global.

Arriving just a week after the pair teased the project with “To Death Remix (feat. 454),” the release expands the world of Purity across two discs. The first features 12 reimagined versions of the original material, with contributions from a wide-ranging lineup of forward-thinking producers including Loraine James, dj blackpower, Bored Lord, Black Noi$e, AceMo, umru, Traxman, and Vayda, among others. The second disc presents the original Purity album, first released in September 2025 to widespread critical acclaim from outlets including Pitchfork, The FADER, and The New York Times, which described Anysia as “a voice of sanity amid the noise.”

The remix project underscores the collaborative, constantly evolving nature of Purity, a record shaped by the creative chemistry between Anysia Kym and Tony Seltzer. The pair initially connected through their shared affinity for rhythm and percussion, building on an early studio rapport that encouraged both artists to stretch their approaches. The result is a project where Anysia’s increasingly confident vocal presence meets Seltzer’s dynamic, club-influenced production style.

Across Purity, Anysia continues to refine a sound that sits at the intersection of experimental electronic music, R&B, jungle, and drum & bass, while still maintaining a direct emotional clarity in her songwriting. Tracks like “Speedrun” highlight her ability to balance intimacy with immediacy, delivering pointed lyrics wrapped in textured, forward-thinking production.

Her evolution has been shaped through releases such as Soliloquy (2022), Pressure Sensitive (2023), and Truest (2024), each marking a progression toward a more fully realized artistic identity. Collaborations with artists like Loraine James on the Clandestine EP further cemented her place within a network of boundary-pushing producers redefining the contours of contemporary underground music.

For Tony Seltzer, Purity (Flips) adds another chapter to a prolific career that has made him a key figure in the New York underground. Known for his work with artists including Princess Nokia, Jay Critch, and Eartheater, as well as his collaborative projects with MIKE, Seltzer continues to operate as a catalyst for sonic experimentation across scenes.

To celebrate the release, Anysia Kym and Tony Seltzer will bring Purity to the stage with two live shows scheduled in London on July 17 and Los Angeles on July 24.
