This past Saturday marked a major career milestone for British singer-songwriter, producer, dancer, and actress FKA twigs, who performed to a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York. The achievement follows her recent GRAMMY Award win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for her 2025 project EUSEXUA, further cementing her position as one of the most boundary-pushing artists of her generation.

The show saw FKA twigs deliver a sweeping setlist spanning her entire 14-year career, including selections from EP1 (2012), LP1 (2014), M3LL1SSX (2015), MAGDALENE (2019), CAPRISONGS (2022), EUSEXUA (2025), and EUSEXUA Afterglow (2025). Alongside these fan-favorite releases, she also introduced several unreleased tracks, hinting at the beginning of a new creative chapter.

Her Body High Tour continues to showcase FKA twigs’ signature worldbuilding, transforming each performance into an immersive, multidimensional experience. The New York show leaned deeply into the ethos of EUSEXUA, blending music, movement, and visual storytelling in real time. In a nod to her roots in voguing and commitment to creating inclusive spaces, she welcomed acclaimed voguers and MCs from the city’s ballroom scene onto the stage.

During a powerful moment in the set, FKA twigs addressed the audience before performing a stripped-back version of “Sticky,” sharing, “New York has always been a home away from home. New York has always been the first place to really understand me.” The performance resonated deeply with fans and critics alike, earning widespread acclaim from publications including i-D, Rolling Stone, Alt Press, and The Guardian, the latter of which praised the show as “an Olympian display of pop prowess,” awarding it a perfect five-star rating.

Launched on March 14 in Miami at Factory Town, the Body High Tour represents a culmination of FKA twigs’ artistic evolution over the past decade. These performances highlight her multidisciplinary talents, from Wushu and opera to visual art, voguing, and pole dancing, alongside her classically trained dance background. In 2024, she further expanded her artistic reach with a debut solo performance as a guest honoree with the Martha Graham Dance Company.

The tour continues across North America, with upcoming stops in Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Las Vegas, and San Francisco, before heading to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April. Select dates feature support from Tokischa, Eartheater, and Brutalismus 3000, adding to the tour’s dynamic and genre-spanning lineup.

With this landmark performance at Madison Square Garden, FKA twigs not only celebrates a defining moment in her career but also sets the stage for what comes next.
