Today, multi-sensory storyteller Yeek returns with a brand new single, “Stayin’ Low.” The track is a spacious four-to-the-floor groove that blends dance-driven energy with his DIY-forward production style, accompanied by a Michael Figueroa-co-directed visual. The video captures Yeek and friends collectively jamming and dancing beneath the glowing red hues of his signature goggles.

“Stayin’ Low” arrives on Lunar New Year in celebration of his Chinese zodiac sign and the Year of the Fire Horse, offering the first taste of more new music to come. The release follows a run of 2025 singles, including “Static,” “If I Could,” “Heaven,” and “Kaseya” with P-Lo.

Speaking on the song’s creation, Yeek shares:

“Stayin’ Low is a return to the dance leaning sonics found in a lot of my music. The song is really simple but the thoughts behind ideating it felt like me overthinking going out & having fun at a more mature age. With that, this song was honestly inspired by the idea of aging while maintaining a career in music which pretty much requires you to still be out all the time. You start to battle the jadedness & desire to stay in that comes with getting older while still having to constantly recharge your social battery. I always felt like this doesn’t get talked about enough, so I made a song that’s pretty much about that.”

A Filipino-American, Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist, Yeek moves fluidly across music, film, and visual art. As a singer, songwriter, producer, director, and filmmaker, he has released seven albums and EPs and directed his short film “Move,” carving out a world that is DIY at its core and cinematic in execution. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Denzel Curry, Dominic Fike, UMI, Raveena, Bakar, and Paris Texas, and has done production work for Mac Miller.

Beyond music, his creative vision has led to partnerships with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Converse, Fender, Carhartt WIP, and Meta / Instagram.

Listen and watch “Stayin’ Low” now, and stay tuned — more from Yeek is on the way.
