Today, multiplatinum-selling, chart-topping Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix and Lauv released Matt Pridgyn’s remix of their hit summer single “MAD” via Casablanca/Republic Records. The official release follows the remix’s recent rise to #1 on U.S. Dance Radio. Garrix has been showcasing the progressive house version of “MAD” throughout his summer tour, including his 60,000-cap shows in Los Angeles, his closing sets at Tomorrowland, and his weekly 10th anniversary residency at Ibiza’s Ushuaïa.

Releasing “MAD” marked a special opportunity for longtime friends Martin Garrix and Lauv to finally collaborate. On working with Garrix, Lauv shared:
“Martin and I have been friends for years and it’s so amazing to finally have a record together – what an inspiring DJ, producer, songwriter, and human.”

Back in May, the duo unveiled the official music video for “MAD”, directed by Mathias Norman.

Later this month, Garrix will drop his new EP ORIGO, which features previously released singles Set Me Free with Arcando, “Sleepless Nights” with Armin van Buuren, and Inside Our Hearts with Alesso.

This summer, Garrix has been headlining some of the world’s biggest stages. He performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago and returned to the iconic L.A. State Historic Park for the first time since 2016. He became the first-ever artist to headline three nights at the venue, selling out 60,000 tickets for the first two nights before adding a third due to overwhelming demand. Earlier in June, he also played four nights in Las Vegas, performing at OMNIA, TAO Beach Club, and EDC. Looking ahead, Garrix has already sold out two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, set for October.

Earlier this year, Garrix dropped “Peace of Mind” with Citadelle, followed by “MAD” with Lauv, and two collaborations with Arijit Singh: “Angels for Each Other” and “Weightless.” “Angels for Each Other” also marked the first time Garrix performed vocals on one of his own records.
