Some connections do not disappear simply because people move on. That idea sits at the heart of Basstripper and Eda Hinkova’s new collaboration, “Stay With Me,” a melodic drum & bass release that pairs emotional songwriting with the Belgian producer’s increasingly recognizable festival-ready sound.
Out now via Bassrush Records, the track gradually transforms its intimate vocal foundation into a full-bodied drum & bass production. Hinkova’s voice remains the emotional anchor throughout, with sections of her topline chopped and looped into the arrangement as the production slowly gathers momentum.
Brass elements, darker synth textures, metallic stabs, and guitar details begin to surround the vocal before the track eventually breaks into its full drum & bass arrangement. The transition gives “Stay With Me” a sense of emotional release without sacrificing the energy that has become central to Basstripper’s productions.
At its core, however, the track is about something much quieter.
“Some connections can never truly be broken. Even when they’re no longer visible in the physical world, they continue to exist somewhere. This track is about holding on to that feeling.”

“MOMENT” also picked up support from a broad collection of drum & bass and electronic tastemakers, including Andy C, Illenium, NGHTMRE, A Little Sound, Teddy Killerz, Krewella, and Mazare.
That release is only one part of a catalog that has continued to expand. Basstripper now has 10 tracks that have surpassed one million Spotify streams, with “In The City” leading the way at more than 36 million streams. His music has also reached international radio audiences through BBC Radio 1 and George FM, while releases such as “Time To Go” and “Sunlight” with Andromedik have helped establish his melodic side.
His production work has extended beyond his own catalog as well, including official remixes for Netsky, Friction, and Rudimental, with forthcoming remixes for Wilkinson and Subsonic.
That momentum has translated directly to the stage throughout 2026. Basstripper has appeared at major European festivals including Tomorrowland, Rampage Open Air, Parookaville, Liquicity Festival, Boardmasters, SonneMondSterne Festival, and Grape Festival.
His international schedule has also included U.S. performances at The Portal in Salt Lake City, Beyond Wonderland Chicago, and Zombie Apocalypse in Long Beach. He is set to return to the United States in September for appearances at Nocturnal Wonderland in San Bernardino and Lost Lands in Thornville, Ohio.
While Basstripper has been building momentum through increasingly large stages, Eda Hinkova has been carving out her own space within the drum & bass world. The Belgian singer-songwriter brings a more emotionally focused approach to the genre, using her vocal work and songwriting to add a human element to productions built around rhythm and bass.
Her growing catalog includes collaborations with SubDocta, DRZ, YUSSI, Osprey, Sub Killaz, Eskei83, and Atmos, while her own work continues to develop a distinct identity as both a vocalist and artist.
