R3HAB has released his third studio album, Dream inside a dream…, an introspective 12-track project that marks the most personal chapter of his career. Available now on all major streaming platforms, the album finds the Dutch-Moroccan producer and DJ looking beyond chart success and global recognition to reflect on the emotions, experiences, and personal growth that have shaped his journey.

Rather than serving as a traditional dance album, Dream inside a dream unfolds as a connected narrative exploring love, gratitude, vulnerability, loneliness, acceptance, and the pursuit of purpose after achieving lifelong ambitions. For Fadil El Ghoul, the artist behind R3HAB, the project asks a simple but profound question: what comes next when the dreams you’ve spent your life chasing finally become reality?

Across the album, R3HAB balances melodic electronic production with deeply personal songwriting, creating an immersive listening experience that blends festival-ready moments with quiet introspection. Each song represents a different emotional chapter, guiding listeners through themes of self-reflection while maintaining the uplifting energy that has become synonymous with his sound.

The journey opens with a spoken meditation from renowned mindfulness guide Jason Stephenson, setting an atmosphere of openness before flowing into “I had a dream…”, where shimmering deep house production and Izzy Bizu‘s ethereal vocals capture the exhilaration and uncertainty of seeing lifelong ambitions fulfilled.

R3HAB steps behind the microphone himself for the first time on “Right here…” alongside Rhodes, reflecting on chasing fleeting moments and the importance of remaining present. Elsewhere, “Lost in translation…” embraces emotional honesty through euphoric production, while “More than enough…” serves as one of the album’s defining moments, transforming vulnerability into a celebration of unconditional acceptance through soaring synths and uplifting melodies.

One of the project’s most personal tracks, “All I am…”, reconnects R3HAB with his Moroccan heritage by incorporating authentic field recordings of traditional snake charmer flutes alongside Orem’s evocative vocals. The collaboration continues on “Watch my heart go…”, pairing emotional songwriting with explosive electronic production, while “Ghost town…” explores loneliness and the search for inner peace through groove-driven rhythms.

The album’s title track, “Dream inside a dream…”, ties together its central themes, encouraging listeners to continue dreaming while appreciating the life already unfolding around them. Later, Izzy Bizu returns on “If I could stop time…”, offering a reflective reminder to embrace the present instead of constantly chasing the future. The project concludes with “The last dance…” before Jason Stephenson closes the experience with a final meditation centered on acceptance and letting go.

‘Dream inside a dream…’ is the cornerstone of the album. This song is a reminder to myself to keep dreaming, even when it feels like I’ve already lived so much of what I once imagined. As a kid I dreamed of success, and many of these early dreams have come true. The way that dreams inspire more dreams now has me feeling like I’m living a dream inside a dream. But life keeps giving, and every new season brings dreams of its own. This song is about staying present and being thankful for each one. Don’t wake me up!” — R3HAB

Known for his global hits, festival anthems, and collaborations spanning electronic, pop, and hip-hop, R3HAB takes a noticeably different approach on Dream inside a dream…. While the album retains his polished production and melodic sensibilities, it places greater emphasis on storytelling and emotional depth, revealing a more vulnerable side of one of dance music’s most recognizable artists.

Alongside its digital release, Dream inside a dream… will also receive a physical vinyl edition, giving fans another way to experience R3HAB’s most intimate and reflective project to date.
