Amtrac Debuts New Single “Accessorize”
Off Forthcoming EP True Value
Out Now via Openers
Amtrac has unveiled “Accessorize,” the latest single off his debut imprint Openers.Coming off the release of his acclaimed EP 1987 and premiered by Pete Tong of BBC Radio 1 earlier this year, “Accessorize” is the first single off Amtrac’s forthcoming True Value EP, out April 21.
Another step in the heralded producer’s sonic evolution, “Accessorize” is a 4/4 romp through a sharp synth soundscape. The leads synth stabs in polyrhythmic cadences against a backdrop of mechanical kit work.
With the titles of producer, musician, DJ and vocalist to his name, versatility has become a signature part of Amtrac’s calling card. Raised on a varied palate of influences since his childhood in Kentucky, his vast musical knowledge has led to an unmatched diversity throughout his productions as well as his performances.
Amtrac has only continued to push his creative limits, being named as one of Pete Tong’s “Future Stars” of 2017. Amtrac’s latest venture has been the launch of his Openers label, which saw its debut showcase this past month during Miami Music Week, where Amtrac performed alongside Kidnap Kid, Justin Jay, and Durante, in addition to his forthcoming performance at Coachella’s DoLab stage.
