Washington native Deb Never has announced her headlining North American ARCADE Tour in support of her debut full-length album, ARCADE, available now via Gia
nt Music. The eight-date run marks her first major tour behind the record and kicks off on August 18 at The Echo in Los Angeles, California, before making stops in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, and New York City, where the tour wraps up on August 31 at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Released this spring, ARCADE earned praise from publications including NYLON, NPR, HYPEBEAST, and Alternative Press. During an appearance on Alternative Press’ In Session podcast, Deb Never discussed the delicate balance of writing deeply personal songs while navigating the chaos of a fast-moving life, explaining how those experiences ultimately shaped the album.
Throughout ARCADE, Deb Never embraces vulnerability, crafting songs that trace the emotional arc of an intensely personal relationship. Built around intimate songwriting and stripped-back guitar arrangements, the album captures moments of self-discovery with honesty while balancing them with her signature wit and understated humor.
The record was executive produced by Romil Hemnani, who worked alongside Deb Never in a busy Los Angeles studio surrounded by frequent collaborators and friends, including boylife, Dominic Fike, and Kevin Abstract. What began as simple guitar-driven demos gradually expanded with orchestral flourishes and layered instrumentation, allowing each song to evolve naturally while preserving the emotional core of the original ideas.
ARCADE also features the previously released singles “Not in Love”, “KNOW ME BETTER”, “ARCADE” and “all the time,” each accompanied by visuals that further develop the album’s immersive creative world.
