NGHTMRE and Cyclops have teamed up for their explosive new single, “Computah,” released via NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations label. Built around an original vocal from TikTok creator Julius Mondragon, the track transforms the viral prank phrase into a high-powered dubstep anthem designed for festival crowds.

New York-based NGHTMRE has spent more than a decade pushing the boundaries of electronic music, blending hip-hop influences with cutting-edge sound design, unexpected samples, field recordings, and unforgettable vocal elements. Meanwhile, Boston producer Cyclops continues to carve out his own lane in dubstep with an experimental approach built around gritty basslines, innovative production, and a knack for turning internet humor into crowd-destroying tracks.

“Computah” combines nostalgic 8-bit melodies, warped lead synths, crowd chants, thunderous sub-bass, and earth-shaking drops into a track that balances viral appeal with peak-time festival energy. The duo first introduced the record during their Fourth of July weekend performance at Pacha NYC, where it quickly became a standout moment in their live set.

The release follows the deluxe edition of NGHTMRE’s sophomore album, MINDFULL, which featured collaborations with A$AP Ferg, Flowdan, Crankdat, Blanke, Kompany, GorillaT, WINK, Sully, and Crooked Bangs. He also heads into a packed Summer MMXXVI Tour, with appearances at Nocturnal Wonderland, Lost Lands, Rampage Open Air, Let It Roll, Smukfest, High Stakes Music Fest, Global Dance Fest, Bass Canyon, Breakaway Music Festival, Wobbleland, along with headline performances at Time Nightclub, The Armory, and Silo.

Cyclops continues his rapid ascent with releases alongside Wooli, Boogie T, Flux Pavilion, and Tynan, as well as official remixes for Seven Lions, RIOT TEN, and ATLiens. After hosting a sold-out Gods & Monsters event at The Midway, he remains on the road for a busy North American tour featuring stops at Beyond Wonderland Chicago, EDC Las Vegas, Forbidden Kingdom, The Caverns, Das Energi, ILLFEST, and Metarmorphosis.

Adding to the song’s viral appeal, Julius Mondragon has built a massive following around his signature “Computah” catchphrase, with multiple TikTok videos generating more than 8 million views each. With its infectious hook and devastating drops, “Computah” looks poised to become one of the standout festival weapons of the summer.
