Singer, songwriter, filmmaker, and queer pop visionary Zolita has announced her forthcoming album, HELL’S BELLES, arriving August 28. A bold, genre-blending concept record, the project is divided into two distinct sonic worlds, balancing the tender, romantic energy of “BELLES” with the darker, more hedonistic spirit of “HELL.”

Alongside the announcement, Zolita has unveiled her latest single, “HARDCORE,” following last month’s release of the album’s title track and lead single, “Hell’s Belles.”

Serving as the foundation of the album’s narrative, “Hell’s Belles” introduced listeners to the central duality that runs throughout the project. Blending country and rock influences with Zolita’s signature pop sensibilities, the track established the opposing forces that shape the album’s identity. Rather than choosing one side over the other, the song embraces contradiction, setting the stage for a record that explores multiple versions of self.

As Zolita explains, the album reflects “my split influences and dual nature as both an artist and a person. I am Hell, and I am Belle.”

While “Hell’s Belles” opened the door to the project’s world, “HARDCORE” throws listeners directly into its darker side. Marking the transition into the album’s second half, the new single captures the moment when Belle evolves into her more reckless and uninhibited alter ego. Trading romantic vulnerability for raw desire and instinct, the track dives headfirst into a gritty electro-pop landscape fueled by temptation, power, and self-indulgence.

Driven by pulsating production and an unapologetic energy, “HARDCORE” expands the album’s sonic palette while reinforcing its themes of transformation and self-reinvention. Together, “Hell’s Belles” and “HARDCORE” offer an early glimpse into the two contrasting identities that define the record, highlighting Zolita’s ability to move seamlessly between genres, moods, and emotional extremes.

At its core, HELL’S BELLES is an exploration of duality. Rather than resolving the tension between opposing forces, the album celebrates it, embracing softness and strength, vulnerability and confidence, romance and rebellion in equal measure.

By fully inhabiting every facet of her identity, Zolita delivers a project that refuses to be confined by expectations. With HELL’S BELLES, she invites listeners into a world where contradictions are not weaknesses to overcome, but strengths to embrace.

The album arrives August 28, with “HARDCORE” available now.
