Today, Canada Soccer and Infinity & officially released Zeds Dead, ARDN, and Boi-1da’s “WE CAME TO BLEED” worldwide as the latest single from Perfect Pitch, the organization’s ambitious music ambassador program. The release continues the rollout of WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT?, the highly anticipated compilation album arriving June 5 that unites a wide-ranging roster of Canadian artists in support of a defining moment for Canada Soccer while helping expand youth access and inclusion within the sport.
“WE CAME TO BLEED” arrives as a high-energy, motivational hip-hop anthem that captures the intensity, pressure, and pride tied to competing at the highest level. Bringing together three distinct creative forces, the record blends emotionally charged songwriting with stadium-ready production, creating a track designed to resonate both on and off the pitch.
As part of WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT?, the single reflects the larger mission behind Perfect Pitch: connecting Canadian artists across genres, generations, and regions through a unified body of work intended to rally the country behind its national teams. Led by executive producer and GRAMMY Award-winning hitmaker Boi-1da, the project features one of the most diverse collections of Canadian talent assembled under a single campaign, with each release building anticipation toward the full album launch on June 5.
Driven by hard-hitting percussion and relentless momentum, “WE CAME TO BLEED” merges Zeds Dead’s genre-blurring electronic production with Boi-1da’s unmistakable hip-hop foundation. At the center of the record, ARDN delivers a standout vocal performance, balancing melodic flows with sharp storytelling that mirrors the mindset of an athlete stepping onto the global stage under immense pressure.
Lyrically, the track leans heavily into themes of belief, resilience, and national pride. Lines like “I got the Midas touch, I’m like Alphonso Davies” connect elite-level confidence with Canadian identity, reinforcing one of the project’s central ideas: greatness can emerge regardless of the stage or stakes involved.
More than a traditional music release, Perfect Pitch stands as a broader cultural initiative celebrating the relationship between Canadian music and the global game while creating meaningful impact beyond competition itself. Proceeds from the album will support the Canada Soccer Foundation, helping fund grassroots programming, expand access to soccer, reduce financial barriers for young players, and strengthen long-term development pathways for Canada’s Men’s National Team and Canada’s Women’s National Team.
Distributed in partnership with Universal Music Canada, WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT? continues building momentum ahead of its June 5 release, with additional singles and collaborations expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
