After a week of speculation sparked by a mysterious yellow brick road teaser reading simply “Summer 2026,” iconic electronic duo Zeds Dead have officially unveiled the next chapter of their career: the Journey of a Lifetime Tour. The newly announced run marks the largest and most ambitious headlining tour of their 15-year career, bringing a full-scale amphitheater production across the United States and Canada—including a two-night stop in Mesa, Arizona on September 18 and September 19.
Designed as a sweeping retrospective, Journey of a Lifetime will present a career-spanning live experience that pulls from every era of Zeds Dead’s catalog. Fans can expect a full-spectrum setlist reaching back to the duo’s earliest MySpace uploads and Bassmentality edits, alongside platinum-certified records, festival-defining anthems, and the cinematic productions that have defined their more recent releases.
The tour will also introduce the most expansive production design the pair has ever taken on the road. The show builds upon the visual storytelling themes first introduced during the Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness era, incorporating space-travel aesthetics and television-inspired motifs into a fully immersive stage experience.
“Journey of a Lifetime is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009,” the duo shared in a statement. “Seventeen years later, it feels like it was a prophecy. We might not have realized it at the time, but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it. This journey is your journey with us as well. We’ve grown up together and celebrated life. We’ve created a world together, and the Journey of a Lifetime Tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it.”
They continued, “This will be our biggest tour yet, taking place in large outdoor venues, and we’re going all out on production, new music, and stage design to create the best show possible. It will be the grand finale of everything we’ve been working on. It’s not the end, though. As we once sampled in a beat: ‘Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.’ We’ll be taking some time off in 2027, so we’re bringing a new show that will take you on a magical journey—a journey of a lifetime.”
Since emerging from Toronto’s underground scene in 2009, Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (Hooks) have built one of the most loyal and enduring fanbases in electronic music. What began as grassroots weekly parties under the Bassmentality banner quickly evolved into a global touring career, platinum-selling records, and the launch of their influential independent label, Deadbeats, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2026.
Among their most beloved traditions is Deadrocks, their annual residency at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which has sold out every year since 2014. The event has become a pilgrimage for fans and a cornerstone moment within North American dance music culture. In recent years, the duo has shifted away from traditional heavy touring in favor of carefully curated multi-night events that emphasize storytelling and immersive performance.

The Journey of a Lifetime Tour will span 15 dates across major amphitheaters and iconic venues. Highlights include two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a homecoming return to Toronto, and major performances in markets such as New York and Los Angeles, alongside select Canadian stops.
A rotating roster of support artists will accompany the tour, reflecting the genre-fluid ecosystem that Zeds Dead have cultivated through both their live shows and the Deadbeats label. The lineup includes ALLEYCVT, Daily Bread, Deathpact, Dr. Fresch, IMANU, Ivy Lab, Mary Droppinz, Moody Good, and Whethan, with artists varying across markets.
The Arizona stop—produced by Relentless Beats and Low End Lab—will take place at Mesa Amphitheatre on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19. Support for the local dates will feature IMANU and Ivy Lab, respectively.
More than just a tour announcement, Journey of a Lifetime serves as a major reflection point for the duo’s career—celebrating 15 years of genre-defying music that has evolved from hip-hop-infused dubstep roots into expansive, cinematic live performances.
Tickets for the Journey of a Lifetime Tour go on sale Wednesday, March 11 at 10 a.m. MT. Zeds Dead has also partnered with PLUS1, with $1 from every ticket supporting organizations that expand access to music education and creative opportunities, including providing instruments, software, and related resources.
