Korean-born, Los Angeles-based producer yetep continues to cultivate connection and community through his fusion of melodic bass, electronica, progressive house, and future bass. The next step toward his upcoming debut album via Lost In Dreams arrives with “Champagne,” an intoxicating progressive house single featuring LA-based singer/songwriter Dia Frampton.
“Champagne” celebrates new love, capturing the butterflies and buzz of falling for someone special. Frampton’s silky vocals create a sense of gleeful elation, underpinned by soothing guitar strums and twinkling keys. The lyrics paint an intoxicating portrait of bubbling romance, while euphoric synths, driving drums, and sparkling flourishes propel the track into a vibrant dancefloor-ready climax. Blurring the lines between heartfelt ballad and energetic house anthem, “Champagne” is an effervescent ode to love’s emotional highs.
On the single’s role in his upcoming album, yetep says, “When I started working on this album, I knew I wanted it to cross multiple genres. ‘Champagne’ was the first step in that direction. I was going for a high-energy house track with powerful vocals from Dia Frampton that also nods to the sound of my earlier work. Hopefully, it shows a new side of me, while still feeling familiar.”
Frampton adds, “Love can feel pretty elusive these days. ‘Champagne’ is about that rare but special feeling that only comes along every now and then—the butterflies you experience when you know you’ve found something unique and meaningful.”
Following the success of his lead singles “Hate It When It’s You” and “Take Me Down,” which drew radio support from Adventure Club, EDM Sessions, and Vibe Nation, yetep continues to champion emotive, community-driven music. These singles also garnered coverage from outlets including FrontView Magazine, UFO Network, Find Your Sounds, Music On the Rox, Indie Dream, Beat For Beat, Roadie Music, Perspective, Melodic Mag, Global Money World, buffaBLOG, Zillions Magazine, LA On Lock, Fresh Music Freaks, and IMPRINT.
On the touring front, yetep has upcoming performances at S20 Los Angeles at BMO Stadium, Tahoe Live, Lost Lands, support for San Holo at Emo’s Austin, and a headline show in Seattle.
Dia Frampton, a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, boasts over 452 million streams and credits with M83, Illenium, Kaskade, and Jason Ross. She is a platinum-certified solo artist and one-half of the rock band Meg & Dia.
“Champagne” is a vibrant, emotionally charged progressive house track that balances heartfelt melodies with euphoric energy. It nods to yetep’s earlier work while championing a resurgence of melodic dance music that resonates with longtime fans and new listeners alike.
