Rising producer YAANO returns to NIGHTMODE with “Let Go”, a gripping new single that threads the emotional edge of soul and jazz into the visceral world of drum and bass. Officially dropping May 16th, this follow-up to his breakout track “USED2” pushes even deeper into raw sonic territory—this time with the haunting vocals of genre-blurring artist Vanessa.

Vanessa’s jazz-inflected delivery adds a fragile, human touch, floating above a soundscape that’s equal parts controlled chaos and cathartic release. The collaboration was born after YAANO stumbled upon Vanessa’s single “Hands.” Moved by her tone, he reverse-engineered an entire sonic world around her voice, allowing flickers of hope to glimmer through the track’s gritty surface. YAANO’s profile has been steadily rising since his NIGHTMODE debut, with support from heavyweights like NGHTMRE, SLANDER, IMANU, Zeds Dead, and Alison Wonderland. “This release is an amalgamation of trial and error—trying to find a balance between enjoyable sounds that hit in a club while still maintaining emotion. The main feelings I’ve aimed to evoke are euphoria, hope, and satisfaction. This track represents, sonically, my mood and direction currently with drum and bass, and aims to shine a more enjoyable and progressive light on what else the genre has to offer.”
