Wurme takes an unexpected detour from his signature emo “sad boi” future bass sound with his viral sensation “Do Not Come”—a politically charged parody featuring an edited exchange between Trump and Harris in an unexpectedly risqué conversation.
This downtempo trap anthem, packed with dark basslines and sharp synth stabs, amassed 10 million Instagram views in a week, skyrocketing toward viral infamy.
“The intention of this song truly stemmed from a hilarious clip my friend sent me of our current president giving a speech,” Wurme explains. “The goal was to make a funny, catchy song for TikTok and Instagram, so I posted the clip, put my phone down, and assumed it would get a few likes before I moved on. Within a week, the video and song had nearly 20 million views, I gained 25,000 new followers, and Dim Mak reached out to release it. What started as an inside joke in a group chat has completely changed my music career. Now, I just hope it performs as well on stage and streaming as it has on social media.”
Hailing from Chicago, Wurme is on a mission to bring his emotional future bass to the world’s biggest stages—his dream being Lollapalooza. Whether he’s crafting melancholic bangers or making viral hits, one thing is certain: the Wurmehole is opening, and now’s the time to jump in.
“Do Not Come” is out now on Dim Mak.
