Ultra is back, locked, loaded and ready to return to its original home in Miami at Bayfront Park for its 22nd edition. (Thank GAWD). What a way to ensure March 20th-22nd 2020 is a complete banger as we await one of the most happenin’ weeks of the year for music and breathe relief as the un-fucking-real lineup drop is unveiled. This lineup reaches so many different types of music tastes. Anywhere from Above & Beyond to reliving Adam Beyer and Cirez D pushing the boundaries of techno. Legendary bigshot Carl Cox is set to take the stage with a mind-bending b2b with Maceo Plex and a b3b with Jamie Jones and an unreleased special guest that is driving my curiosity mad. The most anticipated return of 2019, headed right into 2020 is absolutely Gesaffelstein. The dark prince of techno is ready to take the spotlight and send our minds on a trip into the blackest of the black worlds of magic.
Zedd will be bringing The Orbit production which will be a spectacle to see in itself. Some household names that will be switching up the normalized b2b pairings and escaping the typical Gud Vibrations expectation – will include Jauz b2b Nghtmre as well as Slander b2b Kayzo. A few other headlining acts to offset the wonderland of techno include Flume, Major Lazer, Afrojack, David Guetta, DJ Snake, and Armin Van Buuren.
Every year as we await one of the busiest weeks of the year in southern Florida, the much-awaited return of Miami Music Week, the Winter Music Conference and Ultra. This lineup reaffirms that the talent bookers of UMF don’t fuck around and we will be waiting like kids on Christmas for phase two.
