To say that REZZ has a cult following wouldn’t be an exaggeration, it’s a fact. The Cult of REZZ is a fan-created Facebook group that has amassed over 22,000 members since its creation in 2016. With a literal cult following, it’s easy to see that with only mentioning a few times in 2018 a possible event at the Gorge Amphitheater, fans are still wondering if it will happen.
In 2018 REZZ tweeted that with 9,000 people attending her September 29th tour stop in Seattle that maybe she will have to stop at The Gorge in 2019 for a REZZ curated event. A couple of months later in November she teased the idea even further asking “If I were to have my Own show at the Gorge Amphitheatre …. what would you want it to be called ?”
Since then we haven’t heard much about it from REZZ herself but “cult members” haven’t stopped talking about a REZZ curated event at The Gorge, even edging on two years later.
When 2019 came and went without a REZZ curated event at The Gorge we were all a little sad, but we won’t give up hope. At the end of 2019, she told Twitter that she couldn’t wait to throw more large cult events in 2020. With AREZZONA and REZZ Rocks 3 already announced, will an event at The Gorge be next? We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it could still happen this year!
