When it comes to fun in the sun, no one does it better than Arizona. While other states are still feeling a little on the cold side, Arizona keeps it cool. And by cool, I mean escaping the heat at a waterpark rave! This year, Activated Events and Relentless Beats are proud to announce that Wet Electric is returning to Big Surf Waterpark in Tempe on Saturday, April 28th, for another round of the largest and longest-running waterpark festival in the United States.
Big Surf is proud to have the first, and largest (at an astounding 2.5 million gallons) wave pool in the country. Add some ice, stellar music, good vibes, and you are left with an remarkable festival experience unlike anything else. Come for the music, stay for the slides and rides!
As if the unique waterpark atmosphere was not enough to entice you, check out the fire lineup! Headliners include the Canadian duo Adventure Club, Mad Decent’s Bro Safari, San Antonio’s “Crunkstep” curator Crizzly, deep house legend Dr. Fresch, Los Angeles’ own SNBRN, and bounce-inducing sampler genius Codes, just to name a few. Relentless Beats will, of course, include their featured underground house and techno artists on the RBDeep takeover stage. This event is loaded with house masters, but still provides a decent variety of genres to keep everyone dancing all day long.
This event is 18+, 21+ to drink, and General Admission tickets are only $49 plus fees. There are also VIP options and Daybed and Cabana packages that start at $125 plus fees, so your entire crew can join in style. Lockers are available for rent as well. Doors open at noon and the DJs will be spinning until 9 PM.
After the sun sets, join us at the Monarch Theater in Phoenix until 2 AM for the highly anticipated Dr. Fresch and SNBRN afterparty! I guarantee that Wet Electric will be the best way to kick off your 2018 summer festival season.
