Holy shit, Wet Electric…Music, sunshine, temperatures nearing 100 degrees, palm trees, bikinis, and the country’s largest wave pool…what other ingredients could you possibly need for Arizona’s coolest spring party? On Saturday, April 28th, we were lucky enough to attend Wet Electric, which continues to make a name for Relentless Beats as the biggest and best waterpark festival in the United States. If you are looking for a party, look no farther. For one day, Big Surf Waterpark was transformed into a concert playground for adults, and we loved every second of it.
In addition to the pool and overall super unique festival atmosphere, Wet Electric also boasts a fully-loaded, diverse lineup. This year’s headliners were none other than Crizzly, Adventure Club, Bro Safari, Dr. Fresch, and SNBRN.
Locals Blossom and Sean Watson started the day off with their sets at the high energy wave pool main stage and the cool, shaded RBDeep stage, respectively. We bounced around between the two stages all day, as they differed greatly in atmosphere and music types. The RBDeep featured stage is one of my favorite attractions of Relentless Beats events.

Our favorite set of the night was definitely Adventure Club. The talented Canadian duo played many of their emotional classics, but still kept it current and fun with heavy drops and a few well-known hip hop samples. Either way, the entire crowd was singing along!
The heat did not stop attendees from arriving to Big Surf early. Nearly an hour after doors opened, the venue was teeming with swimming suit-clad festival goers, ready to dance under the sun. Although the venue was packed and the pool filled, lines for bathrooms and drinks were never more than a few short minutes and were mostly shaded. The waterpark slides were open and busy the entire day. Food and drink, merch, and other entertaining vendors graced the main walkway.
Thank you to Activated Events, Relentless Beats, and Big Surf Waterpark for hosting such a smashing event. Wet Electric completely hit it out of the park, and we cannot wait to make a splash again next year!
