Some say Atlantis is a myth… But Fresh Music Freaks found the ancient city at the 10th annual Werk Out Festival! Werk Out was nothing short of fun for everyone and really just a good time. Jellydome, glowing jellyfish, mermaids, a mural, and loads of amazing musical talent!
The Jellydome is impressive, to say the least. A geodome featuring bungee tentacles that give the full underwater effect, seriously, you feel weightless! Moreso, the Jellydome is one of many enchanting places around the festival grounds where the Werk Out community can gather and interact in a fun way, while steps away each musical act filled the space with beautiful sounds.
Making our way through the city of Atlantis, we stumbled upon some elegant mermaids. After exchanging stories of the land and sea, this elegant fisherman began reeling in one of the mermaids! It was quite a thrilling moment so we swam our way out of there.. Check her out!
As the sun set over the sea, the evening twilight set the vibe for each night. The moon and shooting stars lit up the sky while many festival goers created light shows of their own.
The sea creature they call Big Gigantic arrived and created unattainable energy across Atlantis.
Acts like Big Gigantic whirled a wave of energy from all of the sea creatures attending Werk Out, creating this amazing moment captured during their set.
Werk Out Festival and the city of Atlantis had an incredible diversity of music with sets from Steel Pulse with a Rastafarian vibe, The Trinity (Yheti, Toadface, and MT Analog) with experimental bass, Hydro Funk with Sunsquabi, and tribute bands of Pink Floyd (The Wall) and Queen (We Are The Champions). When it came to how easily everyone from families, friends, and bass heads were able to enjoy themselves, the waters were crystal clear. Werk Out Festival is a wonderful experience that is for everyone!
