As a woman of many talents, Cheney Ray has paved a path for the misunderstood. You may hear her more commonly referred to as her DJ and childhood nickname CRAY. Originally from Vancouver, B.C., but now based in Los Angeles, this crush-worthy woman has developed a beloved following. With the serious desire to remain a normie, CRAY shows us how down to earth she can be.
Actively using various social platforms, she showcases her beautiful black cat, her amazing DJ boyfriend Kayzo, and her traveling the world. Kayzo and CRAY also have… creative “pet names” one another, Pupper and Chicken. Other than that, this chick has an insanely curious style. I like to think of it as 90’s grunge meets Avril Lavigne Sk8r Girl who stopped at Hot Topic on the weekends. Luckily, for those who wanna steal her style, she recently made a Depop account to sell some of her items.
Giving Chapman University in Southern California a college try, she attempted to pursue a Sociology degree. But like many who’ve gone before, she decided college was not for her. CRAY developed an interest in artist management which led her to the source of understanding music: producing. Believe it or not, she is a badass gamer to top it off. She started streaming on Twitch, a gaming site where you watch others play. Weird, I know. In between her gaming, she started to introduce some of the epic music she had created. When she saw the positive response, it was game on!
For all those reasons and many more, CRAY is our Woman Crush Wednesday of the week. As if she didn’t have it all by being a DJ/ Producer/Singer/Gamer, there is more. To add to her roster she recently started a new Instagram displaying her photography skills all captioned in numerical order starting with 001.
