Wax Motif Releases New Single “Shake It” Featuring GREG and DOUG!

Wax Motif, the Australian-born, LA-based DJ and producer, released his explosive new single “Shake It” on July 26th via Divided Souls. A festival and club favorite for nearly a year, it has received support from tastemakers like Acraze, Sidepiece, Mochaack, and GABE. Wax enlists rising Brazilian artists GREG and DOUG! for this high-energy dance anthem, arriving just in time for his August performances at Shambhala and Hard Summer.

Wax Motif has hit record highs with sold-out shows, including an advance sell-out at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. His festival performances have dazzled audiences at Electric Forest, Hard Summer, Electric Zoo, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas (Main Stage), PROPER SD, Seismic Dance Festival, and Countdown NYE. In early 2024, Wax produced “BACK TO ME” featuring Freddie Gibbs for Ye x Ty Dolla $ign‘s album, VULTURES, which topped charts in 80 countries within 24 hours.

Following a successful tour across Australia, North America, and Asia, Wax is gearing up for unmissable performances at Shambhala and Hard Summer. He will also debut his and Matroda‘s Waxtroda project with a 4-hour set at The Brooklyn Mirage this October.
