Speaking on the collaboration, Wax Motif shares, “I’ve known Juos for a long time, as his first record was signed to my label Divided Souls three or four years ago. He was sending me a bunch of ideas to work on, and I saw some potential in the initial idea for Run It Up. After I worked on it, I sent it over to 24hrs (who I’d been talking about doing a record with), and had him jump on it to add his vocals—and it turned into Run It Up. It’s really cool to finally have something out with two people who I’ve been working with in the background for so long.”
