Ultra Music Festival is gearing up for its 25th anniversary, which will take place from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the festival’s longtime home of Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. Ultra’s esteemed underground brand RESISTANCE has now unveiled a stacked roster of house and techno mavens to join the 2025 billing.
As previously announced, legendary DJ and producer Carl Cox will celebrate the festival’s milestone by presenting the world debut of his ‘Evolution’ live show as the closing set of Ultra’s inaugural ‘Carl Cox Invites’ stage takeover. The Carl Cox Invites stage takeover will showcase a showcasing a bevy of live house and techno sets at the RESISTANCE MegaStructure, including Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer, techno pioneer Richie Hawtin with his revolutionary live show ‘DEX EFX X0X,’ techno trailblazer Dubfire with his live visual show, ‘EVOLV,’ modern techno shapeshifter Stephan Bodzin, melodic techno maestro Joris Voorn, and German DJ-musician-composer Marc Romboy, who will be making his Ultra debut. Cox will open his stage takeover with a special b2b set alongside his Awesome Soundwave label-mate Christopher Coe, setting the tone for an extraordinary showcase of underground music talent.
Ultra also previously revealed that underground luminary Solomun will bring his Diynamic record label to the festival for the very first time, hosting an exclusive stage takeover at the RESISTANCE MegaStructure. Diynamic’s debut Ultra Music Festival takeover will feature a solo headlining set from Solomun himself, as well as first-time festival performances from esteemed artists like English electronic experimentalism pioneerFour Tet, Dutch tech-house superstar Mau P, Parisian multi-instrumentalist/producer Chloé Caillet, and French underground maestro Rafael Cerato.
Heralded as the most international house and techno festival brand, RESISTANCE will feature additional headlining performances from previously announced leading underground acts such as KNTXT ringleader Charlotte de Witte, who will return to the festival following her historic Main Stage debut at Ultra 2023, German ‘high-tech minimal’ specialist Boris Brejcha,ULTRA Worldwide staple Miss Monique, British techno producer Eli Brown, Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, Italian hard techno duo 999999999, and French industrial techno producer I Hate Models.
RESISTANCE will also welcome newly-revealed headliners such as German techno wonder Kevin de Vries, melodic techno queen Korolova, Saved Records label boss Nic Fanciulli, French techno phenom Nico Moreno, and British tastemaker and Trick label boss Patrick Topping. Adding to this stellar roster, RESISTANCE will present two expertly-curated back-to-back sets: the celebrated duo of Massano and Chris Avantgarde will make a much-anticipated return following their standout b2b set at Ultra 2024, while Popof x Space 92 Present Turbulences will take to the decks once again, following their North American debut at Ultra 2022.
