UFO Project Debuts on Speaker Freaker with High-Octane Breakbeat Single “Freaker”

UFO Project lands on Insomniac’s new Speaker Freaker imprint with “Freaker,” a frenetic breakbeat track that fuses rave nostalgia with futuristic energy. Out now, the single delivers three minutes of high-voltage chaos, built on syncopated broken rhythms, off-kilter vocal chops, classic diva hooks, and crackling acid leads, all layered with glitchy, modem-like alarms for an unmistakably hyperactive, alien vibe.

Celebrating 20 years in 2025, the southern Spain–based duo has earned a reputation for pushing the boundaries of breakbeat, bass house, and global rave sounds. Their catalog spans labels such as Circus Records / Circus Electric, Insomniac Records, and Deadbeats, with remixes for acts like Zeds Dead, Deekline, and Stanton Warriors. They’ve garnered support from tastemakers including Afrojack, Zomboy, Alison Wonderland, Jauz, Excision, and NGHTMRE, solidifying their place in the international electronic music landscape.

Earlier in 2025, UFO Project released their ‘Rave Punx’ EP, a four-track collection blending raw rave energy with emotional depth, further cementing their influence on the European breakbeat and rave revival scene. Beyond music, the duo expands their universe through the Nocturna clothing line, lo-fi visual projects, and their Insomniac Radio show, ‘Bass, Breaks N’ Flow,’ championing underground culture and global bass innovation.

“Freaker” channels the duo’s signature fusion of UK breakbeats, bass house punch, and rave eccentricity, weaponizing nostalgia and experimentation into a relentless, forward-looking track. With this release, UFO Project solidifies their arrival in the Speaker Freaker ecosystem, delivering a single that is both a homage to rave history and a glimpse at the future of breakbeat.

UFO Project’s “Freaker” is available now on all platforms via Speaker Freaker.
