TroyBoi and Daya Unite on “HUSH,” A Moody, Genre-Blurring Collaboration

Global producer TroyBoi joins forces with GRAMMY Award-winning singer Daya for their striking new single, HUSH, out now. Blending slow-tempo trap textures with ethereal pop sensibilities, the track finds a seamless middle ground between both artists’ sonic worlds—moody, refined, and equally suited for late-night listening and festival-scale moments.

The collaboration first surfaced during Miami Music Week at the Pardon My French takeover, where TroyBoi teased the record to a packed crowd. The response was immediate, and when Daya joined him on stage for a live performance, the moment quickly became one of the week’s standout highlights.

Born Troy Henry, TroyBoi has built a global reputation on pushing beyond genre boundaries. Drawing from a multicultural background that spans Indian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Nigerian roots, his sound fuses trap, bass, and experimental electronic elements into a distinct, forward-thinking style. His catalog includes the debut album Left Is Right and the globally inspired ROOTZ EP, both of which highlight his ability to weave diverse influences into cohesive, high-impact productions.

On the other side of the collaboration, Daya brings a complementary yet equally compelling presence. She first rose to prominence with her breakout hit Hide Away and solidified her global reach with Don’t Let Me Down, her GRAMMY-winning collaboration with The Chainsmokers. Her debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty established her as a chart-topping artist, while more recent releases—including Dreamin with Dom Dolla and her album In Between Dreams—showcase her evolution into a more introspective, genre-fluid performer.

Known for her emotive songwriting and unmistakable vocal tone, Daya adds depth and warmth to “HUSH,” balancing vulnerability with strength over TroyBoi’s textured, bass-driven production.

Together, the two artists deliver a track that feels both intimate and expansive—pairing precision-crafted instrumentals with a vocal performance that lingers well beyond the final note. With an accompanying music video on the horizon, “HUSH” stands as a natural yet unexpected collaboration, highlighting the versatility and global reach of both artists.
