Très Mortimer Returns to Slacker 85 with “No More”

by Press Release

Très Mortimer is back with a massive new , “No More,” dropping on October 9 via Slacker 85, as a preview of his highly anticipated ‘M1 City,’ set for release on October 25.

“No More” is a fiery, no-nonsense track, built around a thumping 4×4 beat and the classic Korg M1 stabs that defined an era of dance music. The track’s relentless energy is punctuated by a rousing vocal sample, tight snare rolls, and an undeniable groove designed to set dancefloors ablaze. Très’s production is simple but devastatingly effective, crafting what he calls a “massive banger.”

‘No More’ is a guaranteed party starter,” says Très Mortimer. “The tune starts with tasty percussion and leads into a ghost pepper M1 riff. I worked on it for about a year with Seth [Troxler], who helped shape the bass riff to get meaner as the track progresses. This creates a tension and energy that makes it perfect for big nights. It’s already getting support from Dom Dolla, Gorgon City, Joseph Capriati, and .”

The release of “No More” follows the success of the album’s first single, “Secrets,” which dropped in September. “Secrets” drew inspiration from house legends like MK, using a combination of heavy 909 drums, rolling basslines, and whispered vocal shots to create a deep, danceable groove.

Mortimer has quickly become a staple in Chicago’s house scene, known for his Polish-influenced, dancefloor-centric sound. His previous releases have landed him deals with major labels like Mad Decent, Ministry of Sound, and Insomniac’s IN/Rotation. His rework of The Zombies’ “Time of the Season” garnered over 1 million streams, and he’s made waves with standout singles like “BAMBU” and “At Night I Think Of You” (which was remixed by Seth Troxler and Nick Morgan).

‘M1 City’, his third album, is poised to bring raw house energy back into the spotlight. As a rising star on Seth Troxler’s Slacker 85, a dedicated to breaking boundaries and championing anti-heroes in dance music, Très Mortimer continues to make waves with his unpolished, high-octane style.

Be prepared for more madness when ‘M1 City’ drops on October 25, with “No More” offering just a taste of what’s to come.
