Tonic Walter is the collaborative project of longtime friends Maximilian Nestmann and Marcel Vckov, who developed their distinctive sound after returning from creative periods in Munich and Berlin to their hometown of Altenstadt in Bavaria, Germany. Surrounded by a quieter environment, the pair refined a style that seamlessly blends melodic house, deep house, and techno with analog synthesizers, live instrumentation, and organic textures while preserving the spontaneity and energy of a live performance.
