Massive news from Dutch duo Tinlicker to close out the remainder of 2019. Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer also known as Tinlicker have just announced their debut artist album and tour which are both coming your way this fall. “This is Not Our Universe” will be released on Anjunabeats on September 27th. The tour of the same name will be taking off across Europe, North America, and Asia starting next month.
Tinlicker also teased the upcoming album with a fresh track out this week, an outstanding remix of Alt-J’s “Breezeblocks”. Alt-J’s original song was streamed on Spotify over 300 million times since it’s 2012 release and If you liked the initial track or never even heard it before, you will be blown away by this rework. It adds an extra oomph of creativity to this already amazing song.
“We’re both fans of alt-J. We had the idea of creating a completely different and unique vibe from the original, and the track has been a highlight in our sets over the past months. We are also very happy that alt-J themselves were happy for us to release this version.”

“Breezeblocks” is the second track off the upcoming album. Released in July “Lost”, featuring Run Rivers has been burning up the dance floors all summer. Its intoxicating lyrics combined with deep dark driving beats fuse together perfectly. This song has the singer longing for a lost love and you can feel the pain come through in the track.
I can not wait to hear the rest of “This Is Not Our Universe”, these two producers are incredible and when they combine their genius they are unstoppable. They amazed at the ABGT Weekender at the Gorge and were one of the highlights of day one. They were also on every date of the Anjunabeats North American Tour, so this year continues to be a busy one for these seasoned vets.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Tinlicker, make sure to snag tickets to This is Not Our Universe Tour. Their sets are always exciting, energized, and jam-packed with progressive grooves. I’m super excited to be able to catch them performing an extended three-hour set in Austin in December. RealMusic Events is keeping our schedules busy with another outstanding booking! Additional tour dates have already been announced but keep your eyes peeled for further dates dropping in the coming weeks.
