Time Warp is preparing to return to Mannheim, with 49 artists confirmed for its 2027 main edition on April 3 at its longtime home, Maimarktgelände. Running from Saturday evening into Sunday afternoon, the festival will once again transform its five floors into distinct club environments, bringing together electronic music, immersive production, and a dancefloor-focused experience.
Since its founding in 1994, Time Warp has become synonymous with uncompromising club culture, high-level production, and carefully curated electronic music programming. More than three decades later, its central focus remains unchanged: the music and the people gathered around it.
Over the years, Mannheim has become a meeting point for artists and ravers who return year after year, alongside new audiences and fresh musical perspectives. The 2027 lineup continues that tradition while expanding the festival’s established sound through familiar collaborations, contemporary scene leaders, and new combinations making their debut at the event.
Among the standout bookings is the world premiere of Alarico b3b Chlär b3b Yanamaste. Alarico and Chlär, who together form Funk Assault, have previously performed back-to-back with Yanamaste, but the three artists will share the decks for the first time in Mannheim. Another notable collaboration comes from Cloudy b2b KI/KI, bringing together Cloudy’s fast, bouncing grooves with KI/KI’s distinctive combination of acid, trance, and techno.
International techno heavyweight Charlotte de Witte will also return to Time Warp, joined by harder-edged selections from I Hate Models and Novah.
The festival’s longstanding relationship with established artists remains an important part of its identity. Joseph Capriati, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, and Loco Dice are all returning to Mannheim in 2027. Meanwhile, Adiel b2b Quest has become a modern Time Warp tradition. Following two memorable closing sets at the Glaspavillon, the duo will take over the decks for a third consecutive year.
House music will have a strong presence throughout the programme, with a new generation of artists continuing to shape the genre. Mau P and Josh Baker, both among the scene’s most in-demand names, are confirmed alongside Carlita b2b Rossi. Beltran and Ben Sterling will also reunite after delivering one of the standout moments at Time Warp New York 2025. Their performance at Brooklyn Storehouse generated a recording that surpassed 150,000 views on YouTube within days.
The lineup also reflects Time Warp’s enduring connection to underground club culture. Artists including Jane Fitz and Cinthie bring that spirit to a festival built around the idea of experiencing club music on a grand scale.
Across the event’s five floors, attendees will encounter a wide range of house and techno styles. Ben Klock b2b Rødhåd represent the uncompromising sound of Berlin techno, while Ueberrest brings a harder approach. 2High aka Adrián Mills delivers fast, energetic grooves, and Funk Tribu draws inspiration from the trance sounds of the 1990s and early 2000s.
British club culture also features prominently through Ben UFO b2b Enzo Siragusa, whose selections span house, bass music, and breakbeat. Minimal takes center stage with Rhadoo, while WhoMadeWho brings a melodic dimension through its hybrid DJ set.
For 2027, Time Warp will once again construct five distinct dancefloor environments across Maimarktgelände. Two of the three main floors will occupy the Maimarkthalle, while Floor 5 will focus on house music. The Glaspavillon and Maimarktclub complete the festival’s five-floor layout.
Each space will feature its own sound system, lighting design, and musical direction, developing from the opening sets through the final moments of the event. Moving between the floors offers attendees different atmospheres and sounds, all connected through the continuous flow of the festival.
Production remains central to the Time Warp experience, with floor designs shaped around the music and lighting and sound intended to enhance the atmosphere rather than overwhelm it. The festival’s international community has developed a shared connection over decades, creating an environment that is welcoming and open while retaining the intensity of a dedicated club night.
