Tiga Unveils “SILK SCARF,” the Next Single From His Forthcoming Album HOTLIFE

The Hardcore Storyteller himself, Tiga, returns with “SILK SCARF,” the newest preview of his upcoming album HOTLIFE, out today, December 5, via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records. The track captures Tiga at his most playful and genre-agnostic, blending nostalgia, irreverence, and club-built chemistry into a collaboration that formed almost by accident.

The seed for “SILK SCARF” was planted the night Tiga crossed paths with rising New York City band Fcukers. After both acts performed at Madison Square Garden, traded laughs backstage, and kept the night going at a now-mythologized Brooklyn afterparty, a creative spark took hold. That chance connection became the foundation for one of Tiga’s most uninhibited tracks in years.

Tiga describes the single as springing from a “fantasy genre” entirely of his own making, one that demanded a collaborator unafraid of going all-in. Fcukers were that match.

“This one’s tricky to talk about because it’s based on a fantasy genre I may or may not have invented,” Tiga shares. “I knew I needed a fearless collaborator to bring it to life, and Fcukers were the only choice. Met them, loved them, called them.”

He adds that their chaotic, unapologetic energy reminds him of the Electroclash Summer of Love (Y2K–present)—a spirit defined by ignoring boxes rather than trying to fit inside them.

Once he got past their deliberately provocative name, the collaboration took off quickly. The writing process unfolded with a wild, cross-era energy that blurred inspiration, attitude, and instinct. The result is SILK SCARF, a track that shrugs off categorization entirely.

“If a weird record is good enough, it stops being weird and just becomes a party record,” Tiga explains. “And if you’re not here to party, then why don’t you go do some homework and get the funk out of my face?”

“SILK SCARF” lands as the second single leading into HOTLIFE, following the long-awaited “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME.” The album—Tiga’s first full-length in a decade—arrives April 17, 2026, as a joint release between Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records. The project is set to feature collaborations with Boys Noize, Maara, and MRD, marking a bold and eclectic next chapter for one of electronic music’s most singular voices.
