House Music is a religion worshipped by many. After it’s emergence from the deep underground club scene of Chicago in the 1980’s, House has become one of the most celebrated genres amongst producers and listeners alike. From Deep to Acid, Tech to Tropical, and Classic to Progressive, House has some of the most diverse Subgenres and Fusion Genres of EDM. But I’m here to talk about the reaaaaal G’s of House. These artists are bringing the gangster to Ghetto-House.

Average Gypsy

Who comes to mind when you hear the phrase “couple goals?” For me, it’s Average-Gypsy. Danielle Wilson and Joshua Allen are two Vancouver, Canada based producers bring only the best wobbly basslines, booty shaking vibes, and bouncy goodness to the underground Vancouver scene. Their enticing stage presence and high energy performances will leave you sweating and begging for more. Their recent release “Panda Bunny” has blown up in the UK (listen to “Panda Bunny” below!) Not only does this badass duo have a worldly repertoire, they also have co-founded a community driven festival, Rise & Shine FamJam Fundraiser, in which 100% of proceeds are donated to charity. Want to experience it for yourself? Check out their next event Rise & Shine Halloween FamJam happening in Vancouver, Canada this October. Click here for more info.

Bijou

Do you like it deep and dark? Then BIJOU is for you. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, BIJOU has been fusing he G-House vibe with classic Hip-hop hooks and all things House. After a very successful collab with Dr. Fresch on the track “Hello,” BIJOU’s career took off soaring with tracks featured on Night Bass, Fool’s Gold, and Prep School Recordings. Give yourself in to the sexy vibes that is BIJOU and listen to “Kung Fu” below.

Malaa

Who is Malaa? Well, what we know is that Malaa has become one of the notorious G-House producers in the industry. With his secret identity, Malaa has kept us guessing since 2015. This balaclava donning artist is a part of French producer Tchami‘s label Confession, with his track “Notorius” bringing this mysterious house producer out of the dark and into the spotlight. A newly released FIRE music video was just released for his track “Revolt” ft. Jacknife. This track had me groovin’ to its dark orgasmic goodness. Listen to “Revolt” below!
