The Beatport Group Announces 2024 Diversity + Parity Fund Recipients

by Press Release

The Beatport Group, the global leader in music for DJs, producers, and their fans, has announced the recipients of its third annual Diversity + Parity Fund. This year’s grantees include Black House Radio, Bridges for Music, ESEA Music, FEMME HOUSE, foundation.fm, Girls Make Beats, Refuge Worldwide, Rhythm Section International, Sisters in Sound, and the Young Urban Arts Foundation. The $150,000 fund continues to support grassroots initiatives and organizations dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the dance music community.

The fund exemplifies Beatport’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive music ecosystem. It provides financial support, marketing, and editorial visibility to organizations making a meaningful impact. This year’s recipients represent a wide range of initiatives, including community radio stations, mentorship programs, nonprofit collectives, creative education platforms, and advocacy campaigns designed to amplify underrepresented voices. Additionally, $10,000 has been allocated to the IMS Ibiza Fund, helping young artists attend the 2025 summit.

“We’re honored to celebrate the incredible work of this year’s recipients, who are shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for electronic music,” said Sofia Ilyas, Chief Community Officer of The Beatport Group. “These organizations are creating real change on the ground, and we’re thrilled to support their vision with financial resources and a global platform.”
