Montreal-based artist, producer, and trance visionary TDJ officially launches her new record label SPF INFINI, marking an exciting new chapter in the evolution of her acclaimed audio-visual universe. The label’s debut release, SPF INFINI: ZORZA, arrives today as a 22-track mix and companion video helmed by Toronto DJ and producer Zorza, available now on all platforms.
The project signifies the first of five forthcoming releases under the SPF INFINI banner, each expanding upon the community and soundscape that defined TDJ’s Pitchfork-acclaimed series. This milestone sees TDJ passing the creative reins to artists who helped shape the spirit of SPF INFINI, uniting a new generation of forward-thinking producers under one radiant vision.
“SPF INFINI has always been about creating a family around a common vision,” shares TDJ. “A vision of a modern Trance, rooted in its origins but transcending its limitations. Euphoric, deeply emotional, blissful… Having artists I invited in previous editions now stepping into the SPF sunlight feels like giving wings to this vision. I have always wanted SPF to push the next generation forward, and this is exactly what SPF INFINI will do as a label.”
Accompanying the release is a stunning new visual — a surreal, cinematic performance featuring Zorza DJing aboard a spaceship filled with euphoric ravers, joined by familiar faces from the SPF INFINI visual universe. For Zorza, who has appeared on previous compilations, curating this edition was both a creative and emotional milestone.
“Having released tracks on SPF INFINI in past editions, it was really special for me to have the opportunity to curate my own edition,” says Zorza. “For this mix, I leaned into the harder and hyperpop side of trance. I was lucky to have so many friends and artists I admire contribute to the project and put my own touch into the SPF INFINI universe.”
