Hot on the heels of her groundbreaking project SPF INFINI: GENESIS, which fuses a narrative-driven music video, a seamless DJ mix, and a 36-track compilation of all original music, Montreal-based artist and trance innovator TDJ is taking her latest creation to the stage. Today, she announces the SPF INFINI TOUR, adding 26 international dates to her already packed touring schedule.
Known for her icy persona in the SPF INFINI series, TDJ lights up the stage with her dynamic energy and ability to connect with live audiences. Her tour will stretch into 2025 and beyond, with stops at major events such as EDSea and EDC Orlando, alongside performances at Dreamstate in Southern California, 99 Scott in New York City, and a special homecoming show at Montreal’s SAT. Following these North American dates, TDJ will head overseas, performing in the UK, Europe, and East Asia. A frequent performer for Boiler Room, she has been tapped once again for a sold-out show in Mexico City, her fifth performance for the streaming giant in just two years, sharing the stage with artists like Bambii and Clara Cuvé.
The SPF INFINI TOUR will also spotlight 30 supporting acts, many of whom contributed to the GENESIS compilation. This collection, now available on all streaming platforms, features all-new, previously unreleased tracks from emerging talents such as SofTT, Panteros666, fknsyd, Yoshiko, and 1luu. Although firmly grounded in trance, the GENESIS soundscape reaches into electro, techno, hardcore, and emo, expanding the borders of TDJ’s sonic universe and infusing it with distinct Y2K influences.
As the final chapter in TDJ’s SPF INFINI saga, GENESIS explores the disconnection between humans and their surroundings. Where previous episodes dived into cinematic, technology-driven scenes reminiscent of Black Mirror, GENESIS takes audiences on a sky-bound journey. The plot unfolds aboard a private plane, featuring recurring characters and new faces in a whirlwind of surreal adventures. From an aerial dance with a dragon to sky-diving and mile-high romances, the 83-minute experience showcases the multifaceted aesthetic of TDJ, both visually and sonically.
Within the world of dance music, TDJ stands out as a visionary, blending melancholic undertones with euphoric highs. Co-signed by prominent outlets like Pitchfork, Beatportal, DJ Mag, and Wonderland, Geneviève Ryan-Martel, known to fans as TDJ, is a multidisciplinary artist. With roots in guitar ballads and electronic production, she draws on the emotional depth of trance and emo music to create a universe that spans across mediums—audible, visual, and beyond. As a producer, songwriter, singer, DJ, and the star of her own visuals, TDJ continues to push boundaries and shape her artistic destiny.
