One of bass music’s fastest-rising stars is bringing his biggest hometown vision to life. Today, Tape B announced the inaugural edition of Tapesgiving, a two-night destination event set to take over The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida, on November 27-28, 2026.

Curated by Tape B himself, the Thanksgiving weekend celebration marks the largest hometown headline event of his career and arrives during a period of extraordinary momentum for the artist. Designed as a showcase of both established and emerging talent across the bass music spectrum, Tapesgiving reflects the sound, community, and culture that have fueled Tape B’s rapid ascent.

Across two nights, attendees will experience a carefully curated lineup featuring some of the most influential and forward-thinking names in modern bass music. Night one brings together fellow Florida success story Eazybaked, the Orlando duo whose genre-defying approach has transformed them from local favorites into national headliners. They will join forces with internationally respected Canadian producer Distinct Motive for a special back-to-back performance. The evening will also feature rising bass music standouts Space Wizard and Claybrook.

Night two shifts further into the cutting edge of electronic music with legendary producer G Jones serving as direct support. Widely recognized for pushing the boundaries of bass music through groundbreaking sound design and audiovisual innovation, G Jones adds another major draw to the weekend. The lineup is rounded out by dubstep pioneer Moody Good and rapidly ascending producer Dr. Ushuu, creating a bill that simultaneously honors the genre’s foundations while spotlighting its future.

The announcement follows a landmark year for Tape B, highlighted by a sold-out headline debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a national touring run that surpassed 100,000 tickets sold, and high-profile collaborations with GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Subtronics, John Summit, Juicy J, and Ganja White Night.

Known for blending nostalgic dubstep influences with modern bass production, hip-hop sensibilities, and a deep appreciation for the genre’s roots, Tape B has built one of the most passionate fan communities in electronic music. Through sold-out headline tours, viral mix series including CarTunes and Vibe Check, and an ever-expanding catalog of originals, remixes, and collaborations, he has emerged as one of the defining artists of bass music’s new generation.

For fans in Florida, Tapesgiving carries even greater significance. The event serves as a homecoming for an artist whose journey began long before sold-out amphitheaters and festival headline slots.

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Tape B, whose real name is Kemal Alkanat, grew up attending events such as Ultra Music Festival, Sunset Music Festival, and Life In Color, dreaming of one day taking the stage himself. After discovering music production while attending the University of Central Florida, he spent years teaching himself the craft, developing his sound, and sharing remixes through SoundCloud while balancing the expectations often faced by children of immigrant families.

A life-changing trip to Lost Lands in 2019 solidified his commitment to pursuing music professionally. When the world came to a halt during the pandemic just months later, Alkanat dedicated himself entirely to building the Tape B project from the ground up.

What followed has become one of electronic music’s most compelling modern success stories. By fusing the classic dubstep records that inspired him growing up with contemporary production techniques and a fresh creative perspective, Tape B developed a sound that resonated across multiple generations of bass music fans. His rapid rise eventually earned support from artists he once idolized, including Zeds Dead, leading to collaborations with GRiZ, Subtronics, John Summit, Juicy J, and Ganja White Night, as well as sold-out headline performances across North America.

For Alkanat, Tapesgiving represents more than another milestone event. It is a full-circle moment—a return to the state that helped shape his journey, surrounded by the fans, community, and culture that supported him long before he became one of bass music’s most sought-after artists.

As Tape B’s profile continues to rise, Tapesgiving stands as both a celebration of how far he has come and a glimpse at where the next chapter of his story is headed. Bringing together an exceptional lineup, a passionate fanbase, and the energy of a hometown crowd, the inaugural event is poised to become a new Thanksgiving weekend tradition for bass music fans across the country.
