After nearly a year of blowing up dancefloors across the U.S., Super Future is answering the call from fans and DJs alike with the official release of his long-awaited remix of Waka Flocka Flame’s iconic anthem, “Grove St. Party.” Dropping Friday, June 13 on Warner Music and Spinnin’ Records, the explosive rework fuses trap nostalgia with modern bass design—delivering a high-octane banger engineered for peak-time chaos.
The remix first shook speakers back in November 2023 during Super Future’s opening set for Tape B at a sold-out Mission Ballroom in Denver. Looking to inject raw energy and nostalgic grit into his performance, the Michigan-based producer cooked up the track in one marathon studio session—pulling heavy low-end elements from previous releases like “Supermassive” and his viral “Gas Pedal” flip. What started as a transitional set piece quickly turned into a showstopper.
With no official bass remix of “Grove St. Party” circulating at the time, the track filled a massive void in the festival circuit. When it dropped in Denver—bolstered by Tape B’s full-scale production and laser show—the reaction was immediate and visceral. A TikTok clip from the night caught fire, pushing the remix into viral territory and prompting a surge of demand from both fans and top-tier bass acts.
“I kept asking myself what song screams party energy,” said Super Future, reflecting on the moment. “The movie Project X came to mind—Grove St. Party isn’t even in the film, but it feels like it should be. That energy was the vibe I wanted.”
Now backed by Warner and Spinnin’, the track is set to reach a global audience. It marks another major milestone for Super Future, who’s fresh off the release of his Aurora EP on CloZee’s Odyzey Music and already has a VIP version of the remix locked in for summer festivals.
With major bookings, label support, and a genre-defying sound that continues to evolve, Super Future is carving his own path at the intersection of bass, nostalgia, and mainstage impact.
The official remix of “Grove St. Party” drops June 13 on all platforms via Warner Music and Spinnin’ Records.
