Electronic music innovator Subtronics officially releases his two-part album FIBONACCI today, December 5, 2025, via his label Cyclops Recordings. The launch coincides with the centerpiece of his unprecedented six-night sold-out residency at The Shrine ExpoHall in Los Angeles (December 2–7, 2025), marking a landmark moment in the artist’s career.
Drawing inspiration from the mathematical Fibonacci sequence, where each number is the sum of the two preceding ones, Subtronics (Jesse Kardon) structures the album as a conceptual journey, using the sequence as a foundation for both musical and thematic progression. The full release completes the two-part project, following the earlier FIBONACCI Part 1: Oblivion, which featured crowd favorites like “Lock In” with Wooli and “Stratosphere”. Part 2: Infinity introduces a new listening experience, expanding the album’s sonic palette and emotional depth.
The project features standout collaborations with Linney (“Friends”), Grabbitz (“Infinity”), Lyrah (“Contour”), and Royal And The Serpent (with ILLENIUM on “Got Away”), blending emotive vocals with Subtronics’ signature heavy-hitting bass. EDM.com praises the album, noting, “Viewed as a complete body of work, FIBONACCI presents the most thorough demonstration yet of Subtronics’ singular artistry. It is fearless in its experimentation, meticulous in its construction and rooted in a narrative that elevates every track beyond functionality.”
To support the release, Subtronics will headline the FIBONACCI TOUR 2026, his first full-scale North American run in two years. Kicking off January 23 in Toronto, the tour includes two-night stops in Toronto, Montreal, Dallas, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, and his hometown, Philadelphia, with additional dates in Calgary, Vancouver, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Austin. Each performance promises visionary production and immersive visuals, bringing the intricate FIBONACCI world to life. Select dates will feature special guests including Habstrakt, Juelz, TroyBoi, Whethan, and more. Tickets and additional tour details are available at https://subtronics.net/tour/.
Subtronics’ 2025 has also included standout headline performances at Sphere for Unity in Las Vegas, and he is set to make his Coachella debut in April 2026, as well as reunite with GRiZ for GRiZtronics Gorge at The Gorge Amphitheatre.
FIBONACCI marks a bold evolution for Subtronics, blending conceptual ambition with his hallmark bass-driven energy, solidifying his place as one of electronic music’s most forward-thinking producers.
