Genre-bending electronic music artist Subtronics brings CYCLOPS ARMORY to Minneapolis this February. Subtronics takes over The Armory for three nights Friday, February 14, Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16, 2025. A love for SUBwoofers and elecTRONICS has brought us Subtronics (who is Philadelphia’s Jesse Kardon) His musical journey began with a fervor for his drum set and an appreciation for Radiohead. Discovering dubstep in high school ignited his passion for music production which has since propelled his artistic trajectory. Over the past decade, Subtronics has honed his skills to create a fusion of cutting-edge sound design that pushes the boundaries of electronic music. Known for his electrifying live performances and advanced mixing abilities, he has cultivated an ever-growing fanbase.
In 2024 Subtronics curated and played multiple sold-out events across the country in support of his latest album TESSERACT, including multiple nights of the Cyclops Dome at Tacoma Dome, Cyclops Rocks at Colorado’s Red Rocks, Cyclops Cove at Sunset Cove Amphitheatre in Boca Raton, FL, and then two sold-out shows at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in October. Look for him to bring his high level production and heavy bass to Minneapolis’ The Armory on February 14 – 16.
Subtronics is also showcasing a number of singles and collaborations with several high-profile artists. After premiering the full version of “Sploinky Dub” at Forbidden Kingdom, Subtronics officially released the full song “Sploinky Dub (feat. Grech).” Titled after the TikTok video that connected creator and young writer Grech with the bass music producer. Subtronics also released “Hallelujah” in collaboration with Wooli feat. Poppy Baskcomb, “I’ll Wait For You” with Seven Lions feat. Skylar Grey, “Gas Pedal” with John Summit, Tape B and Sage The Gemini, “Power” with LEVEL UP and Grabbitz and most recently “No One Does It Like” with Alison Wonderland. Beatport Charts recently recognized Subtronics as the #1 Top-Selling Dubstep Artist of 2024, with four Subtronics singles on its Top 10 Selling Dubstep tracks of 2024 list: #1 “Gas Pedal” (Extended Mix), #4 “Black Ice,” #8 “Sploinky Dub,” and #10 “Amnesia.”
