Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero have joined forces on their electrifying new project, the “Higher Off The Ground” EP, a fusion of high-voltage electro energy and refined tech house groove. Out November 7 via Dim Mak and Protocol Recordings, the two-track release showcases both producers at their creative peak.
The title track, “Higher Off The Ground,” delivers a surge of mainstage energy with thunderous basslines and explosive synths, while “Day & Night” takes a deeper dive into rolling grooves and sleek textures that highlight each artist’s command of the dancefloor. Together, the tracks capture the essence of both worlds—festival euphoria and underground finesse.
Aoki shares, “Working with Nicky on the Higher Off The Ground EP has been pure energy from day one. We’ve both been part of the dance music journey for so long, and this project is about pushing that evolution even higher.
