2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki has officially linked up with Swedish producer KAAZE for their first full collaborative EP, Head Rush. The release marks a natural evolution of a creative partnership that’s been building for years, following fan-favorite tracks like “Won’t Forget This Time” and “Whole Again” featuring John Martin from Aoki’s HiROQUEST era, as well as KAAZE’s remix of “Kyro” from HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix. On Head Rush, the duo fuse Aoki’s explosive electro instincts with KAAZE’s signature Hōt Teknō sound, crafting a tightly focused collection built for peak-time festival moments.

The EP is anchored by its title track, “Head Rush,” which features techno vocalist Sarah De Warren. The track balances towering big-room energy with an emotive, vocal-forward approach, pairing massive drops with melodic tension. Rounding out the project are “Give It To Me” and “Self Control,” two adrenaline-fueled cuts designed to thrive on the main stage. Earlier this month, KAAZE joined Aoki onstage at Hypersonic Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, where the duo premiered “Head Rush” and “Give It To Me” to packed crowds.

“KAAZE and I have been talking about doing something together for years, and this EP finally captures that shared vision: high-energy, emotional, euphoric,” Steve Aoki shares. “Both ‘Head Rush’ and ‘Give It To Me’ take you straight to that festival moment where everything just lifts. It’s big-room energy with heart, exactly the kind of music that reminds me why I started doing this in the first place.”

“It’s always a blast to jump in the studio with Steve,” adds KAAZE. “When we started working on this EP, the goal was simple: make something that absolutely destroys the festival stage. Every drop, every melody, every vocal across all tracks is designed to make people lose themselves in the moment.”

With Head Rush, Steve Aoki and KAAZE deliver a no-compromise EP that captures the electricity of their shared history while pushing their sound toward a new, high-impact future on the global festival circuit.
