UK organic electronica artist and multi-instrumentalist Koloto has shared her newest release, “IOA” EP. This release carries Koloto’s signature sound as she manipulates and processes sound in increasingly intricate ways. Uplifting electronic producer & label owner Uppermost has shared his latest single ‘‘When The Birds Start Singin“. Franky Nuts – “Stay”
Franky Nuts is back on Circus Records with “Stay”, featuring vocalist Katie Sky. Having already cemented his place in the genre with his unique brand of melodic dubstep, this release continues his current hot streak.
Proxy – “High/EZY Ting”
House music legend Proxy‘s releases a new two-track bass house EP, “HIGH / EZY TING”. His signature sound is as dark as it is beautiful. Without losing the modernity of his production, Proxy includes the raw sounds that inundated the bass scene. His experimental sound atypical to EDM’s current feel is hallmarked with futuristic vibes, razor-sharp hooks, hypnotic breakdowns, and jagged synths.
Dylhen – “Aptera/Revolution”
UK based artist Dylhen presents a two-track self-titled EP. This release is rooted in his travels as a DJ over the past few years. It shows off the best of his sound whilst epitomizing the energy the label is pushing.
HOSH & 1979 – “Midnight (Hanging Tree)”
HOSH & The 1979’s release the video for “Midnight (The Hanging Tree)” feat. Jalja. This release samples Michael Bibi’s “Hanging Tree”, which comes from the infamous tune sung at The Hanging Tree Scene in the Hunger Games: Mockingjay. The video draws comparisons to the scenes at The Wall in Game of Thrones, with a woman letting nothing get in her way to save her loved ones.
Bedouin – “Whistleman”
BEDOUIN who are one of the leaders of international house music announced the launch of their new label Human By Default earlier this year and their first release on the label is “Whistleman” EP. The four-track EP opens with the title track that incorporates smooth keys, shimmering percussion, a warming bassline, and gorgeously delicate vocals that send you into aural bliss. The entirety of the release takes you on a delightful journey of sound.
Nicola Cruz – “Fuego Nuevo”
Ecuador’s Nicola Cruz releases his four-track EP “Fuego Nuevo“. This release explores rhythmic forms, inspired by Afro-Cuban percussion, cavernous acoustics, and distortion. A dialogue created mainly with a 606 machine as a drum base, following different combinations of ‘claves’ as a tool for temporal organization in these tracks.
Carré – “This is not a Band”
Carré debuts their single release and premiere video for “This is not a band” from forthcoming Self-Titled EP due this Spring. Carré blends aggressive, dark, and chaotic elements with hypnotic drum loops and that totally comes across in the release.
Lili Kendall – “Lonely Empress”
Aussie pop-R&B artist Lili Kendall releases “Lonely Empress”. An atmospheric pop track, the song is about choosing self-growth over a relationship. This track is the final single from Lili Kendall’s upcoming full-length debut “Love, Herself”, which is out later this Spring.
KWON – “Collections”
Rising Los Angeles producer Kwon makes his debut on Moving Castle for the release of his “Collections” EP. Described as a “creative mind dump,” the producer has put together a cohesive project that will showcase the various facets of his musical talent.
Sigma – “Rest of my Life”
Dance-music duo Sigma are releasing their newest single “Rest Of My Life“. This release sees Sigma incorporating dancehall and reggae into their trademark sound, producing a feel-good hit-in-the-making, allowing Shakka‘s soulful vocals to take center stage.
Sian – “Electricity”
Sian releases ‘Electricity’ out now on mau5trap. This release is dark and hard from the beginning with pulsating beats and a funky techno feel.
Slow Magic – “Home”
Slow Magic returns with a brand new album “it’s the end of the world but it’s ok”. This first single “Home” is the start of a four-part project being released throughout 2020. This track offers swelling effervescent textures and is poignantly placed over Slow Magic’s infectious drum patterns. Elegant crooning vocals glide seamlessly atop a synth-laden back sound, as “It’s a long drive/but we’re going home” mellifluously echoes.
Tensnake – “Automatic (Remixes)”
Tensnake is back with the remix edition of his hit single “Automatic”. Out now on Armada and with remixes by Kraak & Smaak Remix, Gerd Janson, and Tensnake. This collection of reworks have their own flavor but each adds another element to the original release.
Party Favor & Georgia Ku – “Once More”
Party Favor and Georgia Ku have teamed for a new single and music video “Once More” which is out now via Dim Mak. The track plays out with the pair stuck in a tumultuous love story and Georgia unable to escape unrequited love. This release is pure electro-pop perfection.
X&G – “Losing Myself”
X&G drops their new track “Losing Myself” today on Insomniac Records. This release arrives before the duo’s four-track EP which is slated for release in April. “Losing Myself” combines funky bass beats and a catchy hook that will definitely be a new club favorite.
