The cheeky, feel-good dance-pop single features a vibrant Portuguese twist and showcases the duo’s signature multilingual grooves, designed to energize dance floors worldwide.
Freshly signed to Republic Records, SOFI TUKKER continue to deliver infectious pop anthems and bold, colorful creative visions. “BOBA” captures the excitement of a playful summer crush, pairing a steady bassline with hypnotic synths, evoking the same irresistible energy that made their breakthrough hit “Drinkee” a defining moment in dance music.

“We made BOBA for the club. It’s based around a poem by Brazilian poet Chacal, a sweet love poem in an unlikely context. We’re so excited to release it with Experts Only. Dance music culture is at our core, and it means so much to us to be putting this out with arguably the hottest dance label in the world.”
Prior to “BOBA”, SOFI TUKKER teamed up with J Balvin for “COOK”, a playful, percussion-driven pop track with airy synths and frisky vocals that highlighted the duo’s signature energy and international flair.
Since their Grammy-nominated breakout with “Drinkee” in 2016, the pair has steadily built a global presence.
