Rooted in bass house but pulling inspiration from the golden age of complextro and brostep, “bettr off” twists falsetto-laced hooks through flickering synth sequences, with staccato leads slicing against growling sawtooth basslines and restless drum programming. The result is a dark yet uplifting undercurrent, pulsing like a heartbeat and reflecting the track’s themes of closure and renewal.
