At its core, “Coming Down” is rooted in grief and remembrance. Written in honor of SkyDisc’s late duo partner and close friend, who passed away in 2022, the record transforms personal loss into a powerful, shared experience.
“‘Coming Down’ was written in memory of my duo partner and best friend, one half of SkyDisc, who passed away in 2022,” he shares. “The song reflects the emotions I struggled to put into words in the aftermath of that loss.”
Sonically, the track pairs uplifting, high-energy drum & bass rhythms with RIENK’s emotionally resonant vocal delivery.
