Sk8star Keeps The Momentum Moving With New Single Peter Pusher

Sk8star is keeping the momentum going with “Peter Pusher,” his latest single accompanied by an official music video. The Macon-raised, Atlanta-based rapper and ØWay member rides a blown-out production from Project4play, delivering a track that reflects the nonstop pace of his life over the past several months.

On “Peter Pusher,” Sk8star taps into the reality of constantly being on the move. After landing back in Atlanta, he admits, “I just flew back to the A,” before already thinking about his next departure two days later: “I been here 48 hours / I might jump back on the plane.” The lyrics capture the whirlwind lifestyle that has followed the rapper through a packed year, including his recent run opening for LUCKI on the Bad Influence Tour*.

Even with the constant travel, Sk8star keeps his signature personality at the center of the track. He checks his bank account and compares the ice around his neck to Frozone, the frozen superhero from The Incredibles, delivering the memorable line, “My neck, I’m Frozone.” The result is another snapshot of an artist embracing the pace and unpredictability surrounding his rise.

“Peter Pusher” arrives at the close of the busiest year of Sk8star’s career. His debut project, Designer Junkie, arrived February 11 and earned 2.5 million first-week streams while receiving a 7.2 rating from Pitchfork. On June 3, The FADER named Sk8star one of its 32 coolest artists of 2026.

That recognition came shortly before “Double C” with Pz’ generated 70.4K first-day streams and Sk8star made his debut at Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash. He followed that momentum with The Beautiful Rebellion, released August 12 with production from Richie Souf, Pi’erre Bourne, and RokOnTheTrack.

Two weeks later, Sk8star appeared alongside BSlime, Tezzus, and Rob49 on “ØWAYSL.” from Young Thug’s Slime Language 3, further connecting him to the growing ØWay movement.

In September, Sk8star released the Skrpina-directed video for “Lo Mein,” filmed on the streets of Tokyo. He then wrapped his run with LUCKI on the Bad* Influence Tour, performing at The Warfield in San Francisco on September 28.

Now, with “Peter Pusher” out, Sk8star closes out a breakthrough year by continuing to turn his fast-moving lifestyle into music. From Macon to Atlanta, international streets, and stages alongside established names in hip-hop, the rapper is showing that the momentum behind his career is showing no signs of slowing down.
